Errata
In the article "Cryptic species in Stachybotrys chartarum" by Michael Cruse, Robin Telerant, Thomas Gallagher, Thomas Lee and John W. Taylor, which appeared in Mycologia
94(5), pp. 814–822
, two mistakes were made in the final paragraph on Page 820. First, the smaller clade, not the larger, has the ITS sequence of ATCC 9182 and, second, ATCC 9182, is not an type speciment or an ex-type culture. The following text is correct and complete and should be substituted for the paragraph beginning at the bottom of Page 820: Each clade is fixed for one of the two alleles for ITS as previously described (Haugland and Heckman 1998). One clade (the larger group) has the ITS sequence of ATCC 16026, ATCC 26303 and UAMH 7900 (Haugland and Heckman 1998, GenBank AF081469). The first two of three strains have been shown to have the morphology described for S. chartarum (Andersen et al 2002. Mycologia 94:392–403). The smaller clade, therefore, must represent that new phylogenetic species and its individuals have the ITS squence of ATCC 9182 (GenBank AF081468).

by Orson K. Miller Jr., Mary Catherine Aime, Francisco J. Camacho and Ursula Peintner. Although the authors correctly noted after the Latin description that the holotype of G. pseudoflavipes is located at UC (University of California at Berkeley), an error was made after the English description. (HOLOTYPE B, lectotype VPI) instead should read (HOLOTYPE UC, lectotype VPI).
